Most days I will get a rebuttal on ye olde book of face.
Illiterate keyboard warriors,
who wouldn’t dare to step toe to toe with me.
For some reason they feel FB is a safe place to attack.
I’m sure you can imagine my temptation to get into a slagging match.
Easy pickings and without much effort on my part.
I’d make them dance the merry dance in front of my home crowd,
before knocking them out cold with my infinite wit,
then lord over them and laugh at their ignorance…
I would feel good for a small second.
But what next?
More scrolling, more trolls…
Would my day be any better?
Instead of wasting my time on small insignificant victories
I aim to spend my time trying to better myself.
I play with the kids,
talk to the wife,
challenge myself in the gym,
read a book,
cook a steak…
Applying myself to something that will enhance my life and make me happy
rather than drag me down and waste my time.
Made me think of how many people devote so much time
to gaining insignificant victories every day,
on social media, at work, even with their partners.
These same people who tell me of their struggles with depression and weight.
How much extra time would you have in your day if it wasn’t for the
What would you do with it?
