I’ve just left the hospital after a bit of an uncomfortable procedure
(they stuck a camera where the sun don’t shine)
and it could’ve been a really crappy day – see what I did there?
But I’m actually feeling really chipper and here’s for why…
For my good fortune, or just sensible life planning, I was booked in at the Nuffield.
See your normal run of the mill hospital is rammed to the max, no fault or blame, it’s just how it is.
Everyone and their granny uses them so they struggle to handle the volume,
you the patient are left unsure, and a little like a spare part.
This morning was a different level of service all together.
I was greeted at reception by Glenda who walked me to my own private room with ensuite.
Seconds after she left Lorna my nurse arrived to talk me through my day and put my mind at rest.
Cathy then gave me a menu and took my food and drinks order for after my procedure
all within 20 minutes of me walking through the front door.
It continued through the morning from the consultant’s visit,
then to Rob taking me down to the surgery,
my food and drinks arriving promptly on me returning to my room
(was extra welcome because I hadn’t eaten for 24 hours)
I knew exactly what was happening all of the time and felt completely comfortable despite
knowing I was receiving a metre long camera the wrong way.
All this was like a well oiled machine
So why am I telling you this potentially embarrassing story about my rear?
It got me to thinking about the impending onset of the January Fitness Frenzy
Health clubs will be literally bursting at the seams as they struggle to cope
with the sheer numbers of red faced mince pie eaters.
Bootcamp instructors will look a lot like rabbits in the headlights
as they shoe horn in every single person they can to try and fill their quota for the year
shouting over hyped BS in their latest 14 day Drop and do 1000 Burpee challenge…
It’s an unpleasant experience for all concerned and worst of all,
the drop off rate in the midst of this chaos is huge!
Very few actually manage to stick at it and get anywhere near their target
It becomes a big waste of time and money!
If that’s your thing then you can simply follow the cattle to the market,
Or if you have a little more sense then you could do some life planning…
The Tough Love 4:3 System is simple to implement and is proven time and time again,
just check out some of the transformation and testimonials on the link below for evidence…
