Every decision, thought or action we take has a feeling attached to it whether
you like to admit it or not.
That post on facebook,
the helping of the elderly
that packet of crisps and choc bar you are just about to dust off
after your lunch sarnie because carb + carb + fat = happiness, right?
This isn’t a case of good or bad,
to feel is the essence of being human.
However, my allustrious amigo
it is in the understanding of this,
that the key to your success in this amazing world lies
whether that be choosing your career going to the gym tonight
or deciding on your sandwich filling
^^^^ gotta be a bit of ham, lettuce, cheddar and mayo, aint it brah?
If you can determine how you WANT to feel as a result of the decision,
thought or action you are about to take then you are far better equipped
to deal with the difficulty that decision, thought or action might entail.
Pretty simple concept but extremely powerful
Let’s simplify it further,
Next time you come up against a difficulty, big or small,
riddle yourself this little beaut…
“How do I want to feel as a result of ___________”
then simply stand back in awe at how your brain simplifies it all
making it far less daunting and even more achievable!
In fact let’s go one better and make this interactive,
