In my humble (but accurate) opinion…
One of the big problems for weight loss junkies
(as well as bootcampers, pt clients, etc) is that despite
years of advice to the contrary,
they still think they know better. and that the more they physically sweat
and the less they eat the more weight they will lose.
I see it on flakebook all the time.
Entire THREADS of diet failures,
slogging out hours upon hours of exercise,
‘checking in’ “here again” and “eurgh Monday”
and photos of ration food.
Nobody actually “winning.”
Nobody actually losing any weight.
Nobody actually valuing their time.
Hey, I get it.
It can be like acid in your veins when you step on the scales
after weeks of nothing but lettuce leaves and dry chicken
and see nothing but FAIL…
Your empty stomach and hollow heavy legs from the grim beastings
and dangerously low calorie diets
make you feel like you deserve to be at least 30-40lbs lighter
but those scales just read HEAVY.
I got a much better way for ya, babycakes.
