Last night, a long time friend of mine came down for a sesh @ The Hut
Now, I’ve played rugby with Greg since my days as a young colt
and this guy has always been a ferocious tackler
serious work horse, ball carrier and leader on the pitch
I would say pretty fearless.
He’s fit strong and lean
Now before this turns into a love letter,
and Greg is unable to control his excitement,
let me get to the point.
He said to me after completing last nights session
that he’d wanted to come down for ages
but he had been putting it off because he was scared…
But after taking that step over the threshold and immediately
being welcomed into the brotherhood his fears were immediately
put to rest and in his words;
“I fucking loved that!”
Woh there, the big bad rugby back row forward was scared?
You see it doesn’t matter who you are or what you have done before
Every single one of us, you me and Greg all Fear the Unknown!
Your brain doesn’t like what it doesn’t know, it’s hard wired
so that you stay safe and don’t end up doing too much crazy shit.
You and that frazzled brain like comfort because in the short term
Comfort = Safe…
Will I be the fattest, the thinnest, the weakest, the slowest, the hairiest, the baldest?
Will I pass out or vomit?
What if I wet my pants???
Yip we all have freaky thoughts and these are
all genuine concerns/questions that your brain puts up as obstacles to you
getting out of your comfort zone and doing the work
you say you want to do…
But they are just thoughts, nothing more…
Well Greg did it anyway and ‘fucking loved it’
The Tough Love Project is genuinely unlike anything
you have done before and you can see for yourself

with a no risk trial.
