I haven’t written anything for about a week so this isn’t flowing as easily as normal,
It was half term last week so my time pool was heavily drawn upon by the kids
(BTW I wouldn’t have it any other way)
I also think I just needed a back off week.
So this is proving to be more difficult than normal.
But that’s OK!
I will get back in the flow before you know it hombre!
Just like with training!
You know what I’m talking about, right?
You keep putting off the inevitable return
‘I’ll start next Monday’
because somehow the working week cycle has some baring on your ability to shift some tin!
Then the first session back is always like trawling through sludge…
The weights seem heavier,
You can’t catch your breath as easily
It’s so hot you’d be as well training by the fires of Mount Doom
Then you finish
You feel great
Why on earth did you put it off so long in the first place?
Just like I’m starting to feel now.
And just by getting my head down and writing this,
I have found a whole new list of things to talk about for the next few weeks!
I urge you to do the same.
Whatever it is you’ve been putting off until now.
Get your head down.
Force yourself through the sludge.
You won’t regret it!
